Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1970 GTO. No expense spared on this project. I just don't have the time to finish it. Have over $30k invested. My loss your gain. I have absolutely everything to finish this car mostly all new parts as you could see pictured. All brand-new interior actually meant for 69 GTO. Like the looks better so I went with it. The motor is a 69 428 freshly rebuilt and dyno tested. Basically built it as a ram air 428. Has ram air iv cam and a 1968 ram air carburetor rebuilt and tuned on the dyno. The heads have the new bigger valves installed with new guides topped off with a nice set of roller tip 1.6 rockers. Have stock compression Pistons so it is a 10:1 ratio motor. Also has ram air 3 exhaust manifolds. Has brand-new ram air iv air cleaner system. Comes with a M21 Muncie also rebuilt with a brand-new stock clutch and new flywheel. The rear end is a 12 bolt Posi with 3.42 gears. Have a new hood tack with wiring harness. Comes with a rare 160 mph speedometer. Has all new sheet metal upfront the quarters have been replaced. Just need finished sanding. The doors are original and very good shape no rust. They are primed and guide coated ready for final sanding.. The decklid has couple dents but is rust free. The body was sandblasted and sprayed in epoxy primer every square inch. The floors are immaculate shape probably the best I've seen, not even surface rust. Although the quarters did have some rust I just went ahead and put new ones on. The firewall, underside, interior and trunk area have all been painted. The frame was sandblasted and painted with POR 15. There are some other parts in my storage room just in case you see something that is not pictured but everything is here. Feel free to ask me any questions. It has clean title and is a true "242". I have not ran the phs on this yet I'm guessing it was just a base coupe. My intentions of this car were to have a nice judge clone. This is nice for the guy that wants to put his own color on and finish it the way they want to. I'm setting the reserve at a ridiculous low price, as I'm realistic I can't get out of what I have into it. Wouldn't take a whole lot to finish this thing off and you would have a $40,000 car. Deposit of $500 will be due at end of auction. Full payment due within seven days, no exceptions. Thanks for looking and good luck!
