I drive this truck often and have used it to haul lumber, bagged concrete, moved kids and grand kids. Entered it in a few car shows and won a trophy or two. It runs great, does not use oil or smoke, always starts and stops very tight. Well built truck. Drives very well at highway speeds, 60-65 mph no engine strain, thanks to the overdrive transmission. Not a speed demon but will get you there and back home loaded or not. Thumbs up everywhere it goes. Well maintained and always garaged. Studebaker Crate Motor (installed before I owned it)Transmission overdrive N.O.S. bought at Studebaker auction and installed. Is activated by switch under dash. Will not go into reverse with switch on. Turn off switch when parked.Wiring is all upgraded, no cloth insulated wire. 6 volt positive ground system with 6 volt alternator, still has floor start system.Patched and welded small areas in floorboard.Professional paint job 4 years ago. Noticed 2 small rust spots on front of hood above grill, see pics. No rust anywhere else.No flaws in glassHas new interior with ivory colored power coated door panels with trim.
