This car started life as an immaculate 1968 fastback C code and was transformed into the Highest level of 68 mustang available in 68, the Shelby GT 500 KR (King of the road) with the legendary 428 Cobra jet, Aluminum Heads, Intake and water pump, together with the fibreglass, this car is light and fast. Halfway through 1968, Shelby started building the KR with the 428 Cobra Jet, it was much faster and soon became the legend it is today. Starting with the body: New Mexico car with zero rust issues, including quarters, floorboards, (Check out underside) fenders, everything is original and zero rust. Carrying all its original metal panels, this was a perfect candidate for a KR build. When painted the front and rear end fibreglass was smoothed in, including the upper scoops to add to the sleek style. A: yes original floorpans and quarters, the floorpans are the best I have seen, no dents or abuse from improper jacking (pans & rails, see photos) with zero rust or rust repair. The Quarters are original, straight and true.
