Selling a 1997 Saturn SL2. We have owned it for 10 years but this year it won't pass NH state inspection. According to inspection results, here is why it failed:Steering / Suspension-Spring / Strut / Torsion Bar - Left RearFoot Brake - Defective Disk or Drum - Right FrontHorn / Electrical System - Horn - Not OperatingExhaust - System Defect - Loose / Leaking Joints/SeamsExhaust - System Defect - Excess NoiseExhaust - System Defect - Leaking FumesExhaust - System Defect - Enters Passenger Compartment / TrunkBody / Chassis - Damage - Cracked ChassisBody / Chassis - Rust - Structural RustOr basically, the left rear strut is rusted, it may need new brake pads, and it has an exhaust leak at the flex pipe and flange - both can be fixed with welding. Not sure why they said the horn doesn't work, but it can be a little fickle. The car still drives but isn't registered so you can test drive around the neighborhood but not on the highway. Car has a brand new starter and a brand new alternator, each with less than 10,000 miles on them. We purchased it used with 75,000 miles on it. Local pick-up only!
