Description 1986 Buick Regal Grand National. After success in the NASCAR Winston Cup, Buick wanted to capitalize on their winning stock car model the Regal Grand National. Using the motto of “what wins on Sunday, sells on Monday” as marketing philosophy, these cars became very successful alternatives to the muscle cars other American manufactures offered. It claimed the fastest US production car manufactured in 1986 too. This Grand National is in very good condition, all of the distinguishing Grand National markings are still in place and in great condition. Painted in all black, the car received the nickname of “Darth Vader” from Motor Trend since almost every exterior part was blacked-out. The paint is in good condition with minor scratches and sun blemishes. All of the body panels are straight and true, along with the removable T-tops.
