Selling a 1965 Mustang Fastback. Factory A code automatic. Wimbledon white with red interior. Car is a project cosmetically needs a paint job and there are some bubbles on passenger quarter panel and driver door. Underneath looks solid from crawling under with 2 patches done over 20 years ago. Car has been in dry storage for 25 years and only has 170K actual miles. It's filthy and hasn't had a bath in all that time so most of what the pictures show is dirt and grease on the exterior. I'm sure it would clean up and look much better but I wanted to show it in it's just out of storage condition. All vin stamps are there and match. Original engine and transmission. Runs well but I wouldn't drive it across country without going through the mechanics. You can drive around town while restoring. Interior is pretty presentable with like new upholstery on seats and really good dash and center console. The carpet has significant wear behind the drivers seat. Original styled steel wheels. I'm sure the tires need replacing but they do have tread and all hold air. The paint is at least 25 years old and is chipping and faded and needs new paint. All components work as far as I can tell. Lights on inside come on and wipers etc work. If you are looking to find a cheap A code fastback that isn't a rust bucket this is the one. Easy restoration, great color combo. A codes are very sought after and this car is worth fixing up. Clear title. I will assist in transport. I would encourage getting an inspection done. It only costs $200 or so and will give you peace of mind. The buy it now is a couple hundred more than reserve.
