Unique opportunity to purchase an UBER RARE American built early 70's Yankee 500Z I bought this bike from it's 2nd owner (who owned it since 1976) as part of a several bike deal. I was told it was "put away running". It was "dry stored".. the gas tank is clean and dry. It kicks over with Great compression and has spark. The transmission "shifts" when rocked back and forth Please take a close look at the parts on my workbench before thinking there are missing parts. Those parts are included. Brand new Magura throttle included. Most of stock airbox included. tail light lens included front fender is complete but has been repaired from the bottom rather well. no broken fins and the exhaust flanges do not appear to be broken or stripped... see pics seat in nice shape Yankee speedo is included as is cable and drive and mount. Speedo was hooked up when I got the bike. I believe the mileage indicated is true, but the rubber on the mount broke in the decade since last ridden, so I removed it from the bike Skid Plate in nice shape as is the entire exhaust ORIGINAL FULL BORE TIRES included, as is a set of much newer, new tires. I cannot find a place on the bike that has been painted or touched up... simply has 40 years of patina (don't you just hate that word??) The pictures in my garage, the "whole bike shots", make the paint appear nicer than it is.. please "zoom in", that's more accurate Includes owners manual, part manual and a very rare "pre production" factory service manual complete with erasures and scratched out passages they were not going to use in the final version before going out of business.
