Up for bids is this 1969 ford mustang mach 1 mustang. This is a very complete and solid car. It is a true mach 1 as I have ran a marti report on it. It has front disc brakes. This is a original Black Jade car. I have added a copy of the marti report in the pics to look at. It has the original door tag and window tag. This is also a very solid car. I have been all over this car. It is solid. The rails are solid. The floors and truck floor are solid. The quarters, doors, fenders, roof rockers, engine bay are solid. This is a very solid 69 mach 1. It has a little spot on the drivers door that has been notched out that needs to be smoothed out. It will needs some minor body work. This is a excellent foundation to build a car. The car was originally a 4 speed 351 4 barrel car. Unfortunatly the original set up is gone. It now has a 351 2 barrel with a automatic transmission. I guess either it was a body someone found at some point and wanted to restore or it was a car that someone wanted an automatic in and took the 4 speed out. It has the 9 inch rear end in it. All the glass is good in it. It has a fold down back seat which is rarer for the later model fastbacks. The car will crank and run but will need some fine tuning before you drive it on a road trip. The brakes work but need work. I have driven it in the neighborhood and in the yard and the mechanicals seem find. It has been sitting up for many years. It has a mid 80's inspection sticker on it still. These 69 mach 1's are getting more and more popular and valuable every day. This is a good sound investment and would make a great project. It has a clear title. The car is located in Jonesboro Louisiana and will have to be picked up here. I will accept cash in person, certified bank check, or bank wire transfer as payment for the car. I could of sanded and primed the whole car but sometimes that will scare people off and they think you filled it up with bondo and covered it up so I left it like it was so you could see what you are getting. Just wanted everybody to know that the body work is good just needs some smoothing out and some paint.
