. . 1985 Buick Riviera . 36k miles . 76 high resolution pictures below The Riviera has been Buicks personal luxury car since 1963 and has consistently been a style leader for Buick. The sixth generation Riviera(79-85) is still one of the best examples of American personal luxury ever built. The Riviera shared its chassis with the Oldsmobile Toronado and Cadillacs Eldorado, while managing to look statelier then either of them. In fact, the first year of production for this body(1979) won Riviera the Motor Trend car of the Year Award. 1985 would be the last year of this beautiful body style which earmarks it as the most desirable from a collectors standpoint. This particular example was purchased new at Liberty Buick in Peoria, AZ. and has always been an Arizona car. It benefits from an outstanding color scheme of cotillion white with dark Royal Blue interior, and is loaded with options like twilight sentenal lighting, concert sound system, passenger 6-way power seat and electronic touch climate control. This Riviera is a sight to behold and only has 36k miles. I have owned 7 or 8 of these in this body style(84-85) over the years, and I believe this one to be the most perfect and solid of any I have ever collected. The flow of the body lines are amazing, and is one of the best looking coupes ever made. Certain colors look best on certain body styles and this body Riviera is the breathtaking in white with a dark interior. I am not aware of anything that doesnt work as expected including the factory electric antenna. The AC was just serviced and converted to 134R and is ice cold. This beautiful Buick runs very smooth and quiet, and tracks straight down the road. I believe it to be factory paint all the way around. the filler panels(flexible material around the front and rear bumpers) were changed out by the original owner and look great with a perfect color match. The tires are new as well with less than 200 miles on them. 1985 Buick Riviera in Cotillion White with dark Royal Blue interior. Lenses are clear and crack free all the way around. No rubs or scrapes on the bumper rub strips. This Buick is stunning and gets all kinds of attention every time it is taken out of the garage. Class at every angle. . This Riviera has a perfect factory stance. This Riviera shows even better in person. Lazor straight body. Vinyl top is like new. Rust free hinges and door jambs. There is no rust anywhere on this car. There is ZERO sun fade on this interior. No dash cracks. The underside of this car is very clean and rust free as you would expect from a Arizona car.
