Up for auction is this 1949 Ford F-1 pickup. I purchased from the original owner - it has been stored in the garage since 1981. Has the original flathead 6cyl engine (not running but turns over by hand) with 3-speed manual transmission. The engine I was told had an overhaul shortly before being parked. It has 1950 Mercury wheel & caps, rolls & steers but will need brakes. Body is in excellent shape - onle rust appears to be in front fenders and some spots on the running boards - cab and bed are exceptional for a truck of this era. Truck is 100% complete and a perfect canidate to restore or hot rod. Clear Kansas title in my name. Truck is sold AS IS.
