Vehicle Detail
Offering up for sale an above average 68 Camaro RS. Original numbers matching block. Though that is where original ends under the hood Carter AFB 4bbl, headers, mild cam, round out performance upgrades. It has always run well so I never touched it outside of an oil change Expect 3 speed trans and third member should match as well though have never verified. 3 speed will be included with sale though now installed is a 4 speed manual. I also have a set of camel back heads that I would throw in as well if the new owner would like Pretty solid body to start a restoration, only rust at all is pictured above drivers side rear wheel well. Floors in trunk and passengers feet are solid with no rust even some undercoating. See pics. Paint is what you would expect from a repaint (original color) probably 25 years ago. I expect there is some body filler from a few of the chips. One paint job in 49 years. The old girl is in need of some attention to brake system. It stops but not well enough to be road worthy for more than a short test drive. Glass is all good and openers all operate as they should. We always intended to do a total restore but time and space are needed so we are consolidating a small car collection. See also a 1976 Cutlass for sale in eBay. This is being sold as good solid bones for a restore though with a little work could also be driven for a while or during updates. It runs and drives well. Just does not stop right currently. I will accommodate loading. Please call with questions 308-883-6718. And no I will not let you in on the reserve or make any outside deals that can be misunderstood. Please bid or BIN. Thanks for looking! On Oct-28-16 at 18:37:07 PDT, seller added the following information: Note to biidders. It came to my attention today that my title vin does not match the vin on the vehicle and engine. Vin plate and motor match title does not. Pursuing a solution with the state of Nebraska but will not be resolved by end of auction. There was a new vin issued by the state about the time I purchased vehicle 18 years ago??? There is a paper trail with the State of Nebraska that acknowledges the actual vin on the car. I apologize for the confusion.
