The VW Thing was on my bucket, and I had been looking for a clean one for over 5 years. I purchased a 2nd owner car that the prior owner purchased it in 1978 and have had a great time with it. Unfortunately, I moved and don't have a place to store it so I'm putting it up for sale. The car is in great shape and the mechanic who worked on it asked where it came from since it had most of its original parts parts. Here's a run-down on the car: I attached the invoice when it was purchased by the previous owner in 1978 (12% interest!!) I purchased it this spring.
