Please be sure to read all details AS/IS FOR PARTS OR REPAIR SALVAGE TITLE For sale 2002 Mercedes-Benz CLK320/ Convertible. I purchased this Car for my wife on the 4th of Sept 2016 (a couple weeks ago)I put in a brand new CRANK SHAFT POSITIONING SENSOR .The Seller said this is what it needed to start .I put the part in at his Home,started it right up and was happy with the purchase. The Car ran great, its super fast. Cold AC. Three days later it caught on fire under the hood, I was able to put the fire out,before any major damage was done, their is damage no doubt , the plastic on top of the motor and insulation burned, it is fixable with some new parts ..the wiring harness is still good and was not damaged, still have the Grill.. it was removed to open the Hood .The main plastic motor cover that is centered on top of the motor was not damaged at all. please see pics . . The convertible top does not work but is in very good condition ,it needs original radio to work correctly,this is a guess on my part.The car has a straight body, and the interior is in pretty good condition the Seats show some normal wear and have noticed only one small tare. Backseat is very nice, all of the seat and headrest movement controls work great .Selling AS/IS FOR PARTS OR REPAIR . If anyone has questions please ask.
