this is a very nice looking clean mg midget, very few 1977 mg midgets look this good , solid underneath , few surface bubbles in paint i figure the paint job was done about 10 years ago held up very good , look at pictures. there are many updates done in the last few months will list. ENGINE- engine was pulled the work done on motor- All new seals front and rear oil seals. Thrust washer checked for clearance. Rod bearing new plastic check for tolerance. All new gaskets, valve cover, water pump (new water pump), timing chain checked and timing chain cover new gasket, oil pan gasket, new exhaust header and gasket, oil pump checked for clearance, carb cleaned and rebuilt, valves adjusted, set timing, new plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor,electronic ignition , new motor mounts, fresh oil 20w50 Valvoline.Electronic fuel pump TRANS- 4 speed manual pulled- drained , cleaned out, and checked some wear on first gear but good shape, new clutch kit, all new bushing in in arm and pins, new master and slave for clutch, new gasket for inspection plate, new trans mounts, new universal joints, fresh gear oil, COOLING SYSTEM- New aluminum radiator,hoses replaced where needed, engine flushed and new cooling fluid, new thermostat and gasket, new water pump. TIRES- New tires 155/80r13 including spare, mounted on after market wheels see pictures,balanced and new stems BRAKES- new pads all around, new master cylinder, bleed system with new brake fluid. INTERIOR- new seat foam, new seat tracking, new carpet, stereo radio blue tooth ready, all gauges work , no cracks in dash, see pictures. new steering wheel, have old one. CONVERTIBLE TOP New top professionally installed very tight. I would say this above average 1977 mg midget and ready to enjoy, i have all the paper work on what as been done. when i drive it i get all kinds of looks thumbs up, ready for cruising and enjoy it and car shows. i will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
