1968 GTX Convertible ( 1 of 1028) , 440, 4 speed -18 spline ,Dana 60, 3:54 gears, Magnum 500 Rims (rear rims are custom Wheel Vintiques), Originally an automatic car from the factory, the 4-speed install is clean and professionally done. Cooling system was upgraded with an Aluminum radiator, MSD ignition upgrade, New convertible top, interior is in excellent condition also. This car runs strong, drives excellent and is very clean. The trunk floor and inner rear quarter/housing area is solid. The rear quarters as well as extensions from inner quarter to outer trunk floor edge have been replaced also. The deck lid (lower rear) has two minor indications of (quarter sized) small rust spots under the paint. This rare and collectible car was found sitting in a junkyard many years ago inching it's way closer to the doom of a crusher. The recovery came with a price though...a reconstructed title. This is a true 1968 GTX Convertible....if the reconstruct title is of genuine concerns... we cannot change what is and how it became so. The vin tag/data belonging to this car is intact and as it should be. This car is a beautiful driver,cruiser and 48 year old Muscle Car survivor. The photos speak for themselves. It draws a lot of attention when at the Mopars at Carlisle event each year and commands respect for what it is. A true 1968 Plymouth GTX Convertible! It does come with a car cover.
