Vehicle Detail

True Survivor Original 1966 Puch Sears Allstate 250 Twingle Running and Driving Motorcycle with 631 Original Miles. Includes the original manual My father got this from a neighbor in the late 1970's. It was missing a few parts basic parts, that we were unable to secure in the 80's... About 10 years ago, we were able to find the parts we needed here on eBay. I have ridden this motor cycle, but it's been a few years ago. It has been stored in a climate controlled basement, both in Chicago and in the North Georgia Mountains. Happy to answer any questions. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: The Puch 250 SGS (Schwing-Gabel-Sport) was a motorcycle manufactured by the Austrian Steyr Daimler Puch AG in Thondorf near Graz. The motorcycle was powered by a split-single two-stroke engine (two pistons sharing a single combustion chamber). It was marketed in the United States by Sears as the "Allstate 250" or "Twingle", and sold primarily via the Sears catalog.[1] It was a common "first motorcycle" for many riders.[2]A total of 38,584 Puch 250 SGS motorcycles were produced between its launch on October 1, 1953 and the ending of manufacture in 1970.
