1971 Cadillac Coupe deVille, as is, where is… but in good shape. All original. Little underbody rust, a couple of spots of body rust. Less than 70 000 original miles, one Ontario owner most her life. I was driving her 2 weeks ago but now she won't start, an electrical issue is shorting the system. Safetied, licensed, insured and on the road this spring. Interior is in great shape, no rips or tears. Headliner is good. Work I had done on it by a knowledgeable mechanic this year include: ball joints, centre link, alternator belt, steering lines and belt, 4 tires, tail pipe, front pads, front rotors, all lights and signals, battery and more. Issues I know about: rear brake problems, transmission is having problems, carburetor needs repair, passenger power window motor needs repair (drivers side works!), rust in the trunk needs patches or replacement and the above mentioned electrical problem. Front and rear badges were stolen, also missing rear view mirror. She doesn’t start now but I don’t think it will take much to fix, just have to find whats causing the short and sort it out, but I don't know for sure. The car is in Toronto and was used for an art festival this September at Ontario Place. Google search "in/Future Toronto" for info. I am an artist and this car was a part of my art work, but I now don’t have the time or space to work on it so sadly its got to go. As I said, the car is “as is, where is” but if you are interested, I could get it back on the road and deliver it to you, but at your expense and in addition to the auction price.
