1994 Toyota MR2 Turbo ***Please read full ad before bidding and ask questions! Massachusetts clean and clear title in my name is on it's way from the registry. It will be in within 30 days of auction end (probably less). The car will be sold with bill of sale and current Massachusetts registration and then title will be sent when it comes in. I'll gladly store the car for you as well until title arrives if preferred. Again, will come with a clear MA title but there may be up to a 30 day delay before the clear MA title arrives. I apologize for the delay but we are at the mercy of the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles on this one. Again, car is registered and insured in Massachusetts and title will be coming soon! Bill of sale and copy of registration included. So if you are viewing this ad you know exactly what you are looking at. The year is correct. This is a from the factory, 1994 Toyota MR2 Turbo in Super Red with tan leather interior, t-tops and a 5-speed transmission. Only a handful of MR2's came into the states in 1994 and 1995 (I believe the number to be about 900 per year) and not a lot of those were turbo cars. By late 1993 they sorted out a lot of handling issues and made improvements so the 1994 and 1995 cars are very hard to come by. This specific car was a two owner car. The previous owner bought the car with 48,000 miles on it in 1998 and drove it to it's now 189,000 miles. The car was loving maintained and used for commuting as well as some track and autocross events. It has high mileage because it was a commuter but you would never know from the way the car drives and pulls. The engine is smooth through the power band and when the turbo spools up she takes off like a rocket ship. The nitty-gritty (the bad and the ugly): 189,000 miles Front lower spoiler split (currently has 200mph tape on it) *bumper cover not damage or torn Rocker panels have rust/rot Drivers floor board needs 8x4 inch patch Rust bubbles in front of targa top (see pictures) Other small surface rust under paint (see pictures) Car will need sway bar end links.. rattles over bumps. Drivers seat leather/bolster has chunk missing Occasional intercooler fan warning light comes on (engine temp stays regular) The good: Two owner car Paint still shines Engine and transmission smooth, strong, fast (no shifting issues) Lightened flywheel Stainless catback exhaust (not too loud as it was a mature owner/commuter/weekend racer owned) Comes with BBS's staggered wheels with great tires Heat works great Aftermarket radio with USB and bluetooth All electrics work T-tops do not leak Apart from flywheel and stainless cat-back, this car is unmolested. Again, this is a high mileage car that runs and drives great. It's a rare beast and needs rockers replaced, floor work, and a general go through. It's very restorable and would make a great track car as well. Please check all of the pictures. They show the trouble areas as well as the true beauty of this car. Every time we take it out, it turns heads. It rides like it is on rails and sounds just right. We'd love to see this car go to a true enthusiast that wants to own the holy grail of MR2's and isn't afraid to get there hands dirty!!!
