Clean, freshly tuned and great running 1989 Suzuki GSX-R 750. A highly sought after original short-stroke slingshot, only made for 2 years, '88 and '89.I purchased this bike a couple of months ago as a project from the corner of a guy's shed. It was dusty and unused for a while as the owner had bought a new bike and didn't ride this one any more. I brought it home, titled it, went through what it needed , and performed the following work to make it road worthy. I really only bought it because I wanted rescue it and eventually find it a good home with someone who will enjoy it. I've been riding it to work and around town the last couple of weeks and it's performed well, so I'm confident it's new owner should be happy with it. I wouldn't consider it a museum quality piece, but it's great rider you can enjoy without worry. There's not a lot of these left with the original color scheme. This one has a full Yoshimura exhaust and K&N filters, so it sounds great. There are some small scrapes and scratches here and there and the front wheel has a slight bend, probably from hitting a pothole. It doesn't seem to be noticeable while riding though. Also there are a couple of panels that have a small amount of fading. The fuel tank is clean inside and out, but does have a bit of clear coat peeling on the "R" sticker.
