2002 Audi S6 Avant with power everything and Audi's navigation system (part no. 7Q9). Just under 109,000 miles. Car suffered a major engine failure during downpour after ingesting water via under-hood venting. Mechanic says car will need new engine or "major engine overhaul." Engine code is BBD; transmission code is FBD. Car has sat for 1+ year at Auto Europa on Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts (zip: 02568) and will also therefore need major interior cleaning effort. Gray exterior and beige leather interior. While it currently looks like hell, it should clean up very nicely with a good deal of elbow grease. Car is owned by my elderly father who lost his license some time ago. No body damage or rust that I can find. Ran strong and all systems were fully functional when breakdown occurred. Car is sold as is/where is at Auto Europa on Martha's Vineyard (please note Martha's Vineyard is an island and any trucking of the car off Island may require a ferry reservation. This time of year, week-day reservations are generally not needed in either on- or off-island direction; on weekends reservation may be needed - round trip cost for single car flatbed should be approx. $200).
