DO NOT BID UNTIL YOU HAVE READ THAT PART.1970 OSSA 250 ENDURONO RESERVE AUCTION - Bike will sell.Very early pre-Pioneer model. 4-speed transmission. Unrestored and all original condition.ALL PHOTOS SHOW THE ACTUAL BIKE FOR SALE with the exception of the LAST PHOTO which is a file photo of someone else's 1972 Pioneer. On that bike please note the placement of the pipe, the different airbox, the different paint scheme, different trans, etc.This is a real gem: a very rare Ossa 250 'Enduro'; not the more common Pioneer which came later. Very few imported into USA. Please note that the words 'Pioneer' cannot be seen anywhere on this bike. This earlier model had pipe on left side and a 4 speed transmission, along with many more subtle differences. The later Pioneers were 5-speed, had pipe on right, and paint job was quite different. If you are a collector of super clean original bikes or rare models, then this Ossa is for you. I have had almost a dozen or so Pioneers in my lifetime, but until now never one of these. Found in Tucson, Arizona and bike comes with it's original New Mexico title.REGARDING THE TITLE--- Although the original title is provided along with the bike, it may not be a CLEAR title, due to it being designated sold to another buyer many years ago long before I bought it, and that buyer had never registered or titled the bike in his name. Some States will not honor this title due to it needing it to have been registered in THAT other guy's name first, then you. You may know someone at your DMV in your local state which might overlook this and title/register it to you anyway, but I can't promise this. For overseas buyers however, title should allow it to be EXPORTED out of the USA and into your country, and should pose no problem to any overseas buyers wanting it. Feel free to call me to clarify if this is a concern. Az-Mike 623-465-06361970 Ossa 250 Enduro - This is an early 4-speed model which is all original down to it's Pirelli tires. Paint - chrome - fiberglass - seat---all original and all very good (front fender has a crack--see photos and paint is nicked here and there). Seat has original cover with one tiny rip (covered with tape), but original foam is beginning to get crispy. Very hard to find any early bike in this kind of original shape, and this one is very nice with a just little over 3K miles on odometer. THIS BIKE RUNS GREAT but it has been sitting for a while and might need carb clean, etc. before riding it. Original fiberglass and original paint looks really good with just the right amount of patina. Original Del'Orto carb and airbox. All lights & switches are still present. All fender side reflectors are intact. Keyed ignition switch. Chromed bits are excellent. Akront wheels are excellent. Original pipe & chromed pickle style silencer are excellent as well. Betor forks will most likely need a rebuild, and rear shocks are new vintage units. Bars-levers-perches----all original & very nice.
