Vehicle Detail

Lancer Evo VIII in good shape. It's been rock solid reliable for 12 years but it's time to move on and get something a bit more family-friendly. I won't lie and say I've never driven it hard but I'd guess I'm pretty low on the aggressive-driver scale by Evo standards. It has never been raced. All of the following maintenance items have been done in the last 2K miles: - Oil- Driveline fluids: transmission, xfer case, rear diff- Coolant- Timing belt- Pads / rotors- Tires- Rebuilt sunroof- Professional detail The only thing you'll have to take care of any time in the near future is the plugs. I very briefly started down the path of modifying it before other things occupied my time / $$$. Just a couple of things to mention: - Removed restrictor pill in vacuum line to add a pound or so of boost- Removed spoiler - this significantly reduces unwanted attention from both police and 18 year olds in dropped Civics- Oil pressure and boost gauges. There is space for a third gauge in the dash. There are a few blemishes on the exterior paint. You can probably take care of them cheaply by using touch up paint - to get the exterior looking like-new the detailer estimates about $1K. This has been my daily driver since I bought it new in 2004 and I've never had a problem with it. I'll be sorry to see it go but hopefully someone out there will take it and do something interesting with it.On Aug-23-16 at 20:11:42 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: Mitsu just put out a recall that includes 2003-2006 Evos. I just got the notice in the mail today. Apparently there is a risk of cross member corrosion from deicing salts. See here for more info: https://vinrcl.safercar.gov/vin/vinLookup You can paste the VIN number (shown in the listing) at the bottom of the page for more details. I will include the recall letter with the car. I also forgot to mention that I am including the factory shop manuals. On Aug-24-16 at 15:32:49 PDT, seller added the following information: My apologies - I completely forgot that the intercooler sprayer does not work. I hope that's not a huge deal to those of you who have already put in bids.
