Up for auction is a very original 1977 Jeep CJ5, Levi Edition, Golden Eagle. I am the second owner of this CJ5. I have owned it for almost 4 years. This Jeep has never been parked outside overnight its whole life. It has always been garaged since the day it was bought in California. It has only resided in dry states. Bakersfield, CA, West Texas and Arizona, now back in Hermosa Beach, CA. This is a very well kept Jeep. All original with slight modifications. When bought new it had a high torque cam installed, exhaust headers, and balanced. There have been lots of modifications, none which have molested the Jeep, no accidents, no bondo, no damage and ZERO rust!!! This is the original Oakleaf Brown paint with original gold wheels (only available in 1977)! This is the real deal, not a repaint! The mileage is currently 94,189, NOT 194,189!!!!. Mostly road miles, appx 2,000 of them towing miles from previous owner. This is the 304 V8 motor and it runs flawless! 3 speed Manual transmission! No leaks!!! Turn key every single time! Electronic ignition. Original 2 barrel carb, completely rebuilt in 2011. Original axles (rear: AMC Model 20, 3:54 ratio, code "N" locking differential; front: Dana 30, 3.54 ratio). Dana 300 transfer case. Warn locking hubs. 15x8 original wheels with 31x10.5 R15LT M&S tires (appx 4,500 on them since new) Brand new matching spare (never used). New water pump, timing chain cover, cam and crank sprockets and radiator in 2009. Lifted in 2011 with Pro Comp 2" leaf springs and shocks. New brake master cylinder and rear brake cylinders in 2012. Fitted with JKS front anti-swaybar quick disconnects. Custom rear bumper with hi-lift jack. Wired for towing. Comes with tow bar, but will not fit new front bumper. 25 gallon gas tank, (Tank has small dent on bottom, has zero effect on performance). Bikini top cover. Full soft top, with soft doors. NO hard top. Chilton repair manual included. The back seat is original Levi edition! The front seats are original to the Jeep, but were upholstered some years back from the original owner, not Levi material, but in great shape! The Jeep cruises easily down the highway at 65mph! No "death wobble'!! Ive had it to 70mph quite a few times and still has more room for more throttle! All bearings, joints, yokes, shafts, etc are all lubed and tight! Nothing is loose on this Jeep! Note: This is the CA Golden Eagle which was only available through California AMC Dealerships!!Note: This Jeep is currently registered in Arizona and the tags are paid until 2018! It has NO smog equipment on it at all! It has real American horsepower, not all that Liberal bullcrap that the tree huggers need! This is the way it is being sold!! If you need to have it smogged it will be up to the buyer to install the necessary smog equipment needed for your town or state! I do not have any of that stuff for the Jeep, it has always had American horsepower and hopefully continue to have American horsepower! Trust me, it gets up and moves for a 304 American V8!! Now, for the aftermarket extras, this is an extensive list, so I may be missing something, but here is what I have done to the Jeep myself..................................................................................................... Custom made rack, Heavy Duty (12v outlet, lic plate mount, LED license plate lights, LED lights, LED Offroad Whip, 2 gas jugs and 2 water jugs, all 4 have never had fluid in them, CB antenna mount, 6pin harness for all 12v electrical, bottle opener, quick disconnect BBQ holder, my design, quick disconnect table, my design, all BBQ and table pieces fit inside BBQ, these both adapt to rack, strap points, ax and shovel mounts) I spent appx 300 hours building the rack itself. (pictured)Stereo: 2 amps, 1 for subwoofer, 1 for 6x9 and 6" speakers. New top of the line stereo. Subwoofer in custom built box under rear seat, Sub woofer control)8 switches (pictured) that control all new 52" LED light bar, 24" LED light bar, backup rear LED lights, windshield spot LED lights, interior LED ribbon lights, whip light LED red, white and blue, horn and usb.(pictured)160 amp alternator, installed 10/2015, to keep battery sufficiently charged for stereo and lights.New Optima Yellow Top battery, installed 8/2014. THIS IS A GREAT WINCH!!!!!New front bumper, satin black painted myself, BRAND NEW!!Rear bumper custom made from previous owner, extremely Heavy Duty, very well constructed, exceptional craftsmanship.Hi Lift Jack: used, but works great! Custom mounted on rear bumper!Flashlight and fire extinguishers and holders. Here's what doesn't work.....clock (did not work when I got the Jeep), windshield wipers (need new motor). I believe that is it, very short list. I am sure I am missing something that I haven't mentioned. I have put hundreds and hundreds of hours into this Jeep with lots of TLC!! Lots of $$$$ into the best aftermarket parts available! This is an absolute head turning machine that gets lots of thumbs up everywhere I take it! It is a collectors piece for sure, not very many Golden Eagles are left and especially one's that haven't been hacked or molested!
