Here we have a 1979 Pontiac trans am ws4. It is all numbers matching it's a 403 olds turbo 350 transmission and a 2:41 posi traction ten bolt rear end. Car runs and drives great I just put 150 miles on it this past weekend every thing works on this car!! The power windows roll up and down the weinshelild wipers work every gauge ...speedo, tach,gas and volt gauge all work and work good the heater works on this car except the clock it does not work the radio is an aftermarket cassette tape deck it works but speakers will need replaced. Car has 92600 original miles on it...car still has the original space saver and jack and original speaker cover and trunk mat are all still in trunk and all look good not all rusted like most....car still also has its original Fisher tee top bags I am the third owner of car.....the gentleman I bought it from bought the car in 1985 it was his summer car only thing he did to car besides drive it was add the cragar sst wheels which are still on car today but have rust and would need changed to be perfect and tires have 80 percent tread on tires bit are a little dry rotted but aren't bad I drive the car on them and it drives mice and straight down the road the car has never been wreaked or twisted up like a lot are....the car still had the original tires on the car when he bought it off of first owner I still have the original rally wheels with original uniroyal tires that are dated from 79 two are full of air and two are flat I never tried to put air to them so who knows if they will hold or not they will be included in sale if car sells ....the cars paint is less then a year old and is decent and looks good but is not perfect there are small blemishes and a few sags in clear the owner was having car painted when his health started failing so he finished the paint and replaced shaker seal and trunk seal and door seals and bought a new decal kit and I'm pretty sure he said he replaced the front grills and put car together and placed it up for sale that's when I bought it.....when I looked at car I took a magnet to all the metal and the car is really solid for being a 79 the owner removed the bottoms of rear seats for me to look at metal under them and they were nice with no rust or rot... the only rust I found on this car was....the rear tail panel on this car is solid it has a few small spots of rust the size of a quarter I took pics of it you can see it in listing....and front driver's side floor I have pics of....it's not bad at all a small patch would fix it the rust is where the metal over laps each other in front floor......the fenders are rust free and solid with no patches .....the inner fenders are solid the hood is solid with no rust the core support and battery tray are solid with no rust... The doors are solid and open and shut really nice!! They don't sag like a lot of the older ones the quarter panels are nice with no patches and the inner fenders are nice with no rot the t top roof is solid with no rot .....the rockers on this car are nice the floors are nice the trunk floor is solid the trunk deck is solid but looks like he sanded and sprayed over some surface rust?? There is light pitting on inside lip of trunk deck with fresh paint over it...every light works on car including dome light gauges all light up at night marker lights work turn signals work ..license plate light works ....the car will need a new exhaust it still has the original splitter tips car is not super loud but exhaust is rusted and will need one.....the dash has one crack at top you can see it and console lid in pics the steering wheel is nice the console and shifter bezel are nice but console lid will need replaced...seats are just really faded but not all tore up and ripped....i removed the rear seat and found the build sheet car is a Norwood Ohio built car and car is loaded with options as you can see in pics the door panels are driver quality some of the interior plastic is kinda sun baked but everything is there just needs cleaned or replaced....I have serval more photos of car I can email or text to you if your interested this is really going to make someone a nice car I work from 3 pm to 3 am so I will return emails as soon as I can...you are welcome to come inspect car before you bid I have clean and clear title in my name I have described this car the best I can with both good and bad points car is sold as is where is I reserve right to end auction early On Aug-13-16 at 15:40:28 PDT, seller added the following information: The car stops decent but brakes will need bled they are a little spongy and also where they put the hood decal on there are a few small blemishes but still looks good On Aug-19-16 at 14:37:01 PDT, seller added the following information: As I was moving the car today the exhaust on drivers side fell downdown by the rear axel car can still be drove and is not loud it still sounds decent.....I just wanted to point that out to everyone
