Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1968 Chevy Impala wagon. Car was a Californial car that was sent to Texas and never left until now. Floors, rockers, inner rockers are original and solid. This is a clean southern car through out! Original 327/ TH400 motor has been rebuilt and runs very well, we have put 1300 miles on this in the past 3 weeks with no issues what so ever! This is a hard find and a blast to drive! Here are a list of the what the car has: 327 motor has been rebuilt at some point, Brand new Edelbrock 1406 Carb, Edelbrock Intake, ARP bolts, mild cam, Double Hump heads,Headers, dual exhaust with H pipe, Aluminum water pump, Billet front drive assy, Sanden compressor, Billet alternator,Aluminum radiator with shroud and electric fan. (stays cool), I do have a new HEI ignition system I will be installing along with new Moroso wires. TH400 was rebuilt and shifts smooth. Holley Electric fuel pump and gas tank was replaced. 4 Wheel disk brakes with a SSBC Master cylinder/booster kit, Stainless Steel lines front to rear, KYB shocks front, Edelbrock rear shocks, POL adjustable track bar. 10 bolt with 3.36 gears (non posi) 18's and 20's wrapped in Nitto tires (less than 2000 miles on them) Interior was redone professionally, Nice headliner, visors, door panels, seats and dash pad are EXTREEMLY nice. Carpet is a little faded but not horrible. Car has 2 rows so it is a 6 passenger. Power rear window that works with the switch under the dash. All doors lock and open and shut solid! Dash was cut for a CD player. I installed some speakers they are decent. Car has Vintage Air kit installed and has a fresh charge on it. Blows cold! The gauges work as well and the clock even works! Body has original metal on it and has been repainted, it is not show quality by any means but it does look great cleaned up, I would rate it about a 6/7 out of a 10. The chrome is good(minor imperfections) Glass is good however the RT side front door Vent glass is hard to crank out, but the power back glass works great from the under dash switch and the key cylinder in the back. Overall this is a great cruiser, driver quality, and runs awesome! Car was just at two huge car shows Good Guys Desmoines and the O'reilly street maching nationals in Minnesota and it has had a crowd of people around it non stop! If the car does not sell we will be taking it to the Loveland Colorado Good Guys show the first week (9,10,11th) of September. I do have a shipper I work very close with and can assist in getting it shipped, he has am enclosed trailer only so it may be a tad higher than the average open hauler. He is VERY prompt on getting cars to my customers. Feel free to call if you have any questions Scott 402-618-6728 but please serious buyers only. I cant stress this enough. I am open to trades for 64-72 GM cars, 47-72 Chevy trucks. Car is for sale locally so I do reserve the right to cancel any bid. Winning bidder is to pay a $500.00 nonrefundable deposit 2 days after the auction close. Please do not bid if you have no intensions of buying this car. Happy bidding! On Aug-11-16 at 13:30:33 PDT, seller added the following information: Please note, The shipper I use is more expensive and the reason why is he uses a 20ft enclosed trailer and it is a dedicated run, once the car goes in the trailer it does not move until it is unloaded at the destination. I do not have any access to a open hauler, I have used him several times and generally I get the cars in 24hours or less pending on distance. He is usually around $1.60 per mile. Worth every penny to me knowing the car is not getting loaded/unloaded a bunch of different times on a commercial hauler. That's your choice. I do have a large enough area available for a large hauler to load the car if needed !
