This is a one owner vehicle special ordered from the factory in 1972. One of the few with factory air. Truck has a 428 long block form Ford that replaced the original 360 . I have that paperwork. Last year while in the driveway it dropped the number 2 piston skirt. As far as I could tell no other damage way done. Truck runs and drives but rough. Piston is available thru Rockauto. Block has been bored .40 over, has Isky solid lifter cam, Edelbrock heads, Performer manifold, 750 Edelbrock carb, Headman headers. Fairly new exhaust system. Its a thumper! I have the original spring set along with a two barrel manifold and air cleaner. New floor pans are in but not welded. Needs cab mounts, both sides. Bed is weak but not terminal.I have 2 spare doors , passenger side front fender, new black door panels, chrome scuff plates, new black dash has been installed all from Dennis Carpenter. Also 2 spare sets of 390 heads, (need work) 2 holly 750 carbs, a 650 Edelbrock carb jetted for 6000 ft. Spare transmission good condition. Assorted body badges and original radio. This truck is one of the few with factory air and I have the all the parts to reconnect it. The heater core needs to be replaced.The drive train is in good working order. Rear differential rebuilt 4k ago, new clutch and throw out bearing, brakes are good and tires have little wear. (37.5 Swamper radials) Title is clear but not currently registered.. If your are an engine and body man this truck has "HUGE" potential and at a fair price. I hate to sell this truck but I need a clutch in my Jeep so its gotta go. Thanks for looking!
