FAST AND MEAN 1951 FORD F5 (1.5 ton)!! Where do I start. I bought it from the city, who was using it for parades. It has a rebuilt inline 300 and a C6 ford bronco donor car. Ive had it up to 100 and its strait as an arrow. I put a new rear end about a year ago. Its been rewired for 12 volt and all lights work. hurst shifter, all original glass (cracked). We are a design company, we personally built the smoke stack exhaust, the stainless steel fenders, then wrapped the bed in steal. The oak bed was cut, stained, and hand painted by me. The patina paint was the result of taking off the horrible paint that was on it and revealing the paint through out the years, a quick flash rust, and lots and lots of clear, This thing is slick as all get out, not rust at all. We do about 3 of these a year and the F5 is super hard to come by, especailly in this condition. Doors slam tight, windows crank perfect, shifts great, my daily driver around town. If you dont like the paint, repaint it the color you want, problem solved. Want to jack it up or slam it, go right ahead. This is as far as we take them. I have plenty of pictures and video.
