PROJECT CARS STILL REQUIRES WORK>>>>>>This is an unfinished Project car........1975 Datsun 280z, JTR V8 conversion kit, Chevy 350 w/ th400 and custom drive shaft. Axles, suspension and control arms were removed blasted and recoated. polyurethane bushings. rear and front shocks replaced. front shock tower cushion replaced, rear one was in good condition. 2 row aluminum radiator. electric fan. with thermostat. booster and resovoir were replaced. floor pans and rails were replaced. no fuel tank, but have a 5 gallon fuel cell with gm sending unit, can be installed. original dash but gutted , removed ac unit and vents tubes, radio installed in glove compartment. 69 camaro horseshoe shifter installed. rear and front brakes were replaced. I have 4 piston caliper upgrade for the front but requires 15 inch wheels or larger. all new tires installed. half shaft u joints were replaced .mustache bar and components were all removed blasted cleaned and recoated. brake lines under the car going back were replaced. most of the hardware on the care was replaced with few exception. rust were cut out and replaced in wheel wells. and undercoated. I have owned the car since 2007. I had the engine built while I was in afghanastan. installed it but never got the chance to work on it until I moved .red top battery. I have been unable to get the engine to stay idle. everything on it Is new, aluminum heads, summit 1102 cam. starter, alternator, intake, carb. and so on. got it to crank ran it for the 20 minute break in. but cant get it to stay idling. new drip pan, hugger headers, I can go on and on. the hood is modified. 9.1 compression, you can ask anything about the car I will gladly answer. REAR OUTER BUMPER PANEL NEEDS WORK. MOTORSPORTAUTO SELLS THE REPLACEMENT PART. need to run new fuel line. I cannot get the engine to run correctly, I just want to make it clear, I have no idea why it wont idle. it has compression across the board. +/- 10 psi difference across the board average being 165.
