Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE AUCTION. Top Bidder Wins the car. This will be the fourth vehicle that i've sold on ebay, and you can see my feedback is still 100%. Even though the miles are on the high side, keep in mind that a blown turbo is one of the main reasons for engine failure. The turbo on this car has only 5k on it, and there are many SG (03-08) Foresters with 250k miles on them. My wife is getting a Tesla and she finds this car too sporty/loud/spartan to drive, so we are going to keep her old car (a legeacy GT). I'd prefer to keep this one as i like the performance, spaciousness, utility, and stealth hot rod factor of it, but ... Cobb Protuned and upgraded to outrun an STI. E-Tuner says the datalogs says it has approximately 285 HP at the wheels. And it feels like it too. The exhaust note was advertised as mid-range, but I find it on the high side. Therefore, I'm including the original exhaust in case you prefer a quieter sound. My 11 year old loves the sound. He keeps saying make it go louder!!! Here is the youtube at idle. It is addicting to start the car over and over to hear that sound. https://youtu.be/XWCHoVIsj7k Doing all the mods below may cost you 3 to 4k alone, prices below for upgrades is just parts!!!Subaru Forester XT Premium (Leather seats and power driver seat) Sony Navigation/Satellite Radio/Rear Camera/DVD Player/Bluetooth - $1,000Excellent mechanical condition. (no leaks or excess exhaust or oil usage)Ceramic-coated IHI VF39 Turbo with Billett wheel (about 5,000 miles on it). Oilfeed banjo bolts removed so turbo doesn't lack die from oil starvation.- $750Cobb Tuning Accessport stage two 285HP (Tuner Claimed) - $300 used V2Cobb Pro E-Tuning - $250Perrin Turbo Inlet - $300Huge TurboXS Intercooler (dwarfs both the original and STI intercoolers) with STI BPV - $850STI Hood Scoop -$300Grimmspeed Electronic Boost Controller - $100Grimmspeed Hood Struts - $100TurboXS midpipe and muffler FXT04-CBE (Note with the tow hitch only 2 muffler hangers fit correctly, but other hanger is secured to hanger with a tether. To prevent rattling sounds. thermal coated rubber is between hitch and muffler) - $400TurboXS catted downpipe - $600TurboXS-clone catless uppipe - $150Walbro fuel pump - $50?Optima Yellow-Top Battery (enjoy car with engine off for hours) - $150Adult driven Garage keptIncluded factory mid-pipe and muffler, factory intake. Tow hitch - $150Issues: This intercooler is for STI and was not supposed to fit this car, but it is in with only driver side bracket for now. I use sturdy rubber hose to protect the AC lines. I"ve had no issues with this and no turbo boost pressure lost.Good-sized dings in rear-left fender. I'll add tire pictures so you can judge the wear yourself.windshield has 2 pits in it. They are small and haven't spread to a full crack. one of them is very tiny the other is noticeable but on the far right side. There is no reason this car can't be purchased and driven across the country. It is maintained and upgraded (other than the intercooler :-) by a former Subaru mechanic who uses a brand of oil from Japan in the engine and transmission. Passenger front speaker is not working. I'm including Polk Audio db651 6.5" 360W Marine Grade Coaxial Car Speakers w/ 6x8" Adapters speakers that i was going to have put in. These are supposed to fit with no major modification. Also, note the fake brembo brake covers. I'm happy with the original brakes, so that was just for kicks.
