Vehicle Detail
If you have ever owned a 1995 E36 M3 you understand it is like having dated a nymphomaniac supermodel. No matter how many you try, nothing can compare. The M3 has won the most titles of ANY vehicle in Motorsport racing history, Touring racing history, and Grand Touring racing history. The M3 was also voted one of the five greatest driver cars of all time by Automobile Magazine. This M3 was previously owned by racer/engine builder John Kane from Rodzshop in upstate New York. He found a nice '95 E36 body and installed a tweaked S50 OBD1 3.0 L motor with 56K. He set it up as a track car and did mods like building a custom exhaust, air intake, and intercooler from Vibrant Performance components. He ran the exhaust down the middle of the frame, lightened the chassis, and upgraded the brakes and suspension. He raced a while and realized he was too old to hang with the drift crowd, and having been a 1995 M3 owner I bought it when I purchased his deceased father's sedan. The motor was stronger and faster than my 95 M3 with 37K on it! I began to revert it back to a street car but when we moved from OH to WV I realized the already precarious roads have been destroyed by the fracking/oil boom, and I respect the M3 too much to subject it to that punishment. This car has never been wrecked and has a straight body with original paint and little rust. It has lightweight decals but has a sunroof, manual seats, heated seats and mirrors, black powder coated Msport rims, and a chrome dipped Msport spare. We found a wrecked 1999 M3 that had a great interior and we converted the carpet, rear seats, and driver seat skin. We have the extra passenger seat skin, plus a car cover, cargo net, and complete Colgan bra. This car needs some body work done on a few small rust areas and new trim clips in some areas. The front nose and air dam was flexed when the vehicle was unloaded incorrectly, snapping a couple plastic clips and cracking the lower air dam. The car is street ready, but if you wanted to track it, it is a perfect candidate. However it is nice enough to be preserved for posterity, and these cars are becoming very rare. The 1995 E36 was a one year engine and body model. Payment must be received prior to transport and we will cooperate in any way possible to save you time and money. We travel the nation from Memorial Day till Labor Day for our vintage audio/media business, so delivery to your location is an option. I highly encourage any prospective bidders to visually inspect a vehicle before you buy, but if you can't, contact the seller and ask questions. My number is 614-633-7801 and my name is Mike.
