This Liberty runs, but my mechanic says it needs an engine. One cylinder has no compression, and there is a lot of "blow by", indicating worn rings. There is a dent in the rear door on the drivers side, where I backed into it with another car in my driveway, and a few other scratches from the previous owners. The transmission is good, as far as I know, because I have towed with it with no problem. The 4WD operates fine, as we proved 2 winters ago when we had near record snowfall here in NE Pennsylvania. In short, it would be a good car for someone with the ability or desire to replace the engine. The tires have a lot of useful life. In the three years we have owned it, we have put 23,200 miles on it. If there are any questions, we will be happy to answer. Added note: the car starts easily but will stall if allowed to idle in traffic. Has plenty of power for ordinary driving, but again, will not idle in "drive". It will idle in "park".
