No Reserve! Selling my 1979 Jeep CJ5 that had a recent frame off restoration. Jeep is in very good condition as you can tell from the pictures. I do suggest you come out and look at it yourself for any further details on cosmetics. I can also take close ups if there is something in particular you want to see. I did include a few pics I received from prior owner that show some of the restoration work as it was taking place. I'm not a Jeep nut, so I'm not sure what exactly is in there for transmission, transfer case and rears. Again, come take a look if you like. It looks like it has the 4 Cyl Iron Duke engine, which from everything I have found was not an option on the 79 CJ5, so I'm guessing it is not original to the Jeep. It runs great (its no speed demon obviously, but for what the engine is it runs fine). It is garage kept and my wife and I use it to go out to dinner mostly. I sometimes take it to work. It is tagged as an Antique in PA, but can be tagged as a regular vehicle if you intended to daily drive it. The tires are Dick Cepeks. I also have a brand new bikini top for it that I never mounted that will go with it. I know of two minor items that you may or may not want to address (I haven't yet as they don't bother me much). There is a very slight coolant weep right around the thermostat housing neck. So slight it doesn't drip onto ground nor have I had to put any coolant in, but you can see it ever so slightly. Second, the lift looks like it was done by using front shackles only and no wedges were installed on the axle nor does it look like the axle mounts were relocated, so I believe it has lost some of the required castor. From this, it wanders slightly when driving. For the local driving I do, it has not been an issue. If you intend to do a lot of highway driving with it, you may want to address it. I think wedge shims would get the castor back and eliminate the issue. Otherwise, I don't know of anything else. Again, please come check it out yourself. If you bid, you are bidding to buy, not to come and look at it and then make a decision. The $500 deposit is non refundable, so make sure you want it before you bid.
