Vehicle Detail
1996 Geo Tracker 4x4 convertible with automatic transmission. This has been my primary daily driver for the last year and a half. I have put over $3000 into it (not including the purchase price). New items include: original equipment convertible top (tinted), radiator, intake gaskets, valve cover gaskets, plugs, wires, cap, pcv valve, fuel filter, oxygen sensors, shocks, hoses and belts (including timing), radio/amp/and sub, and tires, transmission flush and service with new gasket.Wheels and misc body pieces were powdercoated. Vehicle sale comes with 4 winter tires, a new front bumper and grille cover. The only thing left I had to do on the vehicle was get it painted!!!Unfortunately, after a trip to Deleware last week, 2 mechanical issues popped up. The engine light came on and a wheel bearing started making noise. Due to the fact it is due for inspection, it is too much money for me to rush putting into it in such a short time period. Other than the noisey bearing, it drives great. Any questions, feel free to call/text/write. On Jun-25-16 at 20:05:03 PDT, seller added the following information: Also forgot it has new brakes (pads/rotors, drums and linings) all aroundOn Jun-29-16 at 04:50:27 PDT, seller added the following information: ok so update, people are asking me if the vehicle can be driven somewhere. It drives, but i parked the car last week after hearing the bearing noise. I DO NOT WANT TO DRIVE IT AND RUN THE RISK OF DAMAGING THE CAR IF YOU BUY IT. A noisey bearing can cause an overheat condition and damage the hub assembly and brake components. So the answer is, I will drive it anywhere YOU want me too, but the risk of further damage is on you. a $200 tow may save you $700 of additional work. Please use common sense people. The car would sell for $5000 if it wasnt for the 2 concerns. NJ inspection only tests for emmisions. If a check engine light is on for any reason, they will reject you. There is only 1 code in the system but i cannot find the form they printed (it is one of these from my memory P0740, P0720, P0470, or P0270).
