Vehicle Detail

THE BASICS: Up for sale is a very nice 1996 Camaro Z28 with the LT1 engine. It is a 5.7 liter V-8. Car has an automatic transmission that was rebuilt approximate twelve months ago. The engine runs strong, no problems but it could use a basic tune-up in the near future. It has power with a nice rumble that you only get out of the V-8. I am in possession of a clear Oklahoma title.INSIDE THE CAR: THE GOOD: The interior is dark grey cloth but it is in very nice condition. The headliner is excellent. The carpet is nice, needs some good floor mats. It has a Kenwood head unit installed new six months ago. It has blue tooth compatibility, CD, iPOD jack, USB jack, external microphone for talking on compatible phone, color changing led lights, standby mode, and more. It is a very nice head unit. The speakers are all original and all work. It does not have a rear subwoofer but there is a spot for one in the trunk. It has power windows, power locks, cruise, ac, tilt steering wheel, front air bags, and of course seat belts. The seats are adjustable but they are manual. Both power windows roll up and down. New window motors were installed on both sides approximately six months ago. THE BAD: The sun visors are nice but they have the elastic bands around them and they have lost all there elasticity. The air bags were deployed in a very low speed front bumper impact. A vehicle ran a stop sign and the Camaro hit his drivers door at approximately ten miles an hour. This deployed the air bags. We repaired the steering wheel center and the passenger side dash but did not install new air bags. When the air bags deployed they cracked the piece of dash between the front glass and instrument panel. This piece of plastic has not been replaced but is covered with a fitted cloth cover. The stalk that has the cruise control on it and dimmer switch for the headlights has not worked since the air bags deployed. The part would need to be replaced. The headlights work on low beam but not high beam because of switch. OUTSIDE THE CAR:THE GOOD: The tires have atleast seventy five percent tread left on them. The rims are the factory Camaro rims. The car has new side marker lights, new fog lights, new taillights, and new headlights. All of the lights are the newer clear lens style. The taillights are the euro type,(see picture). The front windshield was replaced approximately nine months ago,(a rock from a truck hit it and cracked it). It has a new hood, front right fender, and bumper cover. These were replaced because of damage from the front impact. Nothing under the hood needed to be replaced from the accident. The impact wasn't hard enough to affect the radiator, fan, or even the inner bumper support. After the new parts were on the royal blue metallic rally stripes were added. These stripes are professionally painted on the vehicle. They are not stickers! The Z28 and Chevy Bow Tie badges are color matched to the rally stripes. Brand new LT1 badges were added, silver with royal blue lettering, as a final exterior touch. It has a brand new battery and new wiper blades. A new water pump was installed approximately a year ago. A new washer pump was put on July of last year. New aftermarket exhaust tips were installed six months ago. They are stainless steele with anodized blue on edge, see pictures. New rear shocks were installed four months ago. It has regular oil and filter changes.THE BAD: The air conditioner works but does not blow cold air. The car has minor scratches, blemishes, and the normal wear a car that's twenty years old has. NOTE TO BIDDERS/BUYER:This is a twenty year old car. If you want perfect don't buy this. If you want spotless on the inside this is not the car for you. Please look at all pictures before bidding. Ask me any question you might have. I will answer it honestly and in as much detail as possible. PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU CANNOT BUY. This a no reserve auction. The car is for sale locally. I reserve the right to end auction if cars sale prior to auction end. If you live close and want to see or drive the car please send me an email and we will work out a time.REASON FOR SALE OF CAR:My wife and I must relocate for me to receive a kidney transplant. This vehicle is a secondary vehicle we bought for fun. I am selling all of our non necessary items to help fund the upcoming expenses. On Jun-22-16 at 10:58:56 PDT, seller added the following information: **** ATTENTION BIDDERS WITH FEEDBACK OF 10 OR LESS: PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO BUY THE VEHICLE OR DO NOT HAVE THE FUNDS AVAILABLE.
