Thank you for looking, this 1953 pickup runs well and is fast. The frame is a 1969 c10 with hotchkis coils front and rear, new endlinks, ball joints etc. Converted front disc brakes and later model Chevy brake booster and Master cylinder. 1948 grill and fenders and bed 69 c10 floor was welded in so it would mount right up to the frame. Truck also comes with bed fenders and running boards, I never installed them because they would need to be widened to fit the slicks. Engine is a 4.8 ls motor with 101k miles( I have the reciept from lkq), siemen 80 lb injectors, with a 70 mm master power turbo, A 44mm tial waste gate with 10 pound spring,ebay loud bov . There is a snow performance methanal injection kit on it. The kit sprays meth/ water mixture at around 7 pounds of boost. The ecm is a microsquirt setup that is being fully controlled by a laptop. Tunerstudio is what controls Fuel, timing, etc everything can be changed in seconds on a laptop. This program will also auto tune driving down the road. Transmission is a th350c it has a tight convertor now (1800) but the trans is somewhat built with shift kit and better clutch discs. Rear axle is a 12 bolt with 373gears it has 29 inch slicks on it now and comes with a set of new 31 inch truck tires with rims that go with it for street. Gas tank And battery are in the bed. Truck has two step that's operated by a button on the dash and will shot flames. The exhaust comes out of the Front fender and comes directly off the turbo ( no muffler) it's not really that loud the turbo quites it down alot. The truck Will droan at highway speeds, it shakes rattles and rolls. I don't think there's a Panel on this truck that's not dented or scratched, it is a true rat rod. The interior is simple with a wideband, tachometer, oil, temp, voltage and vacuum/boost gauges. The key and light switch are just cheap ones from the auto parts store. The wiring behind the dash is a rat's nest but could easily be cleaned up. The bed has new wood and is a different color from the cab but the whole trucks been slightly sanded and cleared. This truck is fast and grabs alot of peoples attention. I enjoy driving it but am looking to build a track car now. The cab corners on this truck are rusted out, as well as dents in fenders and roof etc. This was a fun build I was not concerned at how the welds look or patches in the floor since it was always meant to be a rat rod.
