Okay , Guys and Dolls , You have ALWAYS wanted to see what all the " HUB-BUB "was about these 1950 " HOT ROD LINCOLNS " . Here's just some of the wonders of the COSMOPOLITAN ... 337 Cubic Inch ANVIL FLATHEAD . This was the BIGGEST V-8 Flathead available , and was also used in the F-5 and F-7's . The original bell housings are pretty easy to find and so are the manual gearboxes . The rear bumper is complete and arrow straight with the BUMPERETTES !The original steering wheel is there . This COSMO is equipped with an AUTOMATIC , But would be so easy to convert over to a Manual 4 or 5 speed , using a donor FORD truck ! The rear glass is perfect . The side glass looks to be okay , but they are all rolled down . The front windshield has a star crack in it down low . I don't have the shop space to even start this project , otherwise , I would be elbow deep in this one ... Too many projects and too little time . This Lincoln is a blank canvas ready for your touch of creativity and sweat ! You could buy this , sell parts from it and make your money back and still have PLENTY of parts to finish your '50 " Linc " . The frame is straight as a pin and has very little surface rust , If you're looking for a perfect foundation to start with , THIS IS THE ONE YOU WANT . Mileage unknown . But locals say it was parked in the 60's . Sold with a notarized BILL OF SALE . HIGH BID OVER $200 WINS ! Suicide Doors ? So Cool ! This fine example has very , very little surface patina , The door hinges all work and have never been adjusted from the factory specs , Same with the trunk lid . The hood has a " crink " on the right side , EZ fix . This is a BIG Car . Fit the whole family and still have room for the dog !
