Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a really solid 1967 912. Here is what I have figured out on the history of the car it was a tourist delivery car that was picked up and shipped back to Century Motors in 1967 then made its way to Phoenix and then Colorado till 1993 when it was sold to a guy in Indiana who proceeded to put 2000 mile on it. I have the original tourist delivery book showing car has its original engine. The car still has the Naddela axles installed. It had dealer A/C installed at some point and all the parts are still there but I haven't tried to operate it. The 912 came equipped with European heat set up. The car was originally Bahama Yellow but now is white it needs a paint job it looks great from a distant but on close inspect has paint chips and mismatch paint. The car has one 68 fender on the drivers side but it must have been replaced early in the cars life because it Bahama yellow also under the white paint. I haven't been able to find any rust on the car other then a little surface rust, The only thing that doesn't work is the gas gauge it works some times... The seats have been recovered in cloth I suspect due to the desert heat of Arizona they actually look good. The dash has also been recovered. The car runs and drives great the 901 transmission is a little crunchy on fast shifts. I have the tool kit for the car On Apr-29-16 at 09:23:08 PDT, seller added the following information: The chassis number is 462670On Apr-30-16 at 08:17:50 PDT, seller added the following information: The engine is the correct engine for the car you can see the picture of the warranty book. I'm not sure of the transmission but I suspect it since it still has the original naddella axles. I have been asked if it runs a drives and it does run great cruises down the high way at 75mph.... Stops and steers correctly. On May-02-16 at 12:10:59 PDT, seller added the following information: I have picture of the paint tag Chassis number and Vin plate if needed. I'm at my picture limit on EBay. Thank
