NO RESERVE AUCTION Selling my f-2shorty truck that I built. It started as a one owner 2002 f-250 xl stripper that was used for his carpentry business with tool boxes in the bed. The truck has 165,600 miles. 5.4L v8 Automatic transmission. Factory No A/C. I removed the 8ft bed, I Bought the cleanest Superduty White Short bed that I could find, The frame was then Cut, Sectioned, and Fish-plated by a certified welder.I cleaned the frame, Primed it, and painted it with rustolium Gloss Black.A superduty short bed gas tank was purchased and the original long bed sending unit was re-used, so the fuel gauge read out is not accurate because the tanks are a different volume.The rear gas tank strap is semi temporary and needs to be fabricated out of metal.I had a custom drive shaft made by a local drive shaft shop,Once the wheel base was shortened the suspension felt too stiff out back, so I removed a few leafs to lower it a little and now it rides comfortably.The bench seat is ugly, I planned to install a 40/20/40 leather lariat bench with folding console but i have not located one yet. The truck starts, runs, drives, and stops great. the transmission shifts just as it should. the front end is as tight as it can be. The cab, cab corners, and rocker panels are rust free. The door bottoms are blistered with rust. as well as two bubbles on the bed fenders.The Windshield wipers do not work. I have replaced the multi function switch, wiper motor, and traced all the wiring and can not find an issue, and yet they still wont function, the next step is the module. So I don't drive the truck in the rain, I have 11 vehicles so it never mattered to me.The exhaust is cut off under the truck and has a muffler welded on.I planned on painting the truck Ford White Platinum Pearl and making everything body color. I would feel comfortable driving this truck to California right now, (with a bottle of RainX in hand) I thought about making it a race truck, putting performance cams in it. Maybe finding a supercharged Ford Lightning engine or even dropping my cummins 12v in to it. Im only selling it because Im Building a Pole Barn and I need to thin out the collection. Clean title in hand. Truck is listed locally so I can end the auction at any time.
