This is a 1966 Chevy II Nova. I bought this car about five years ago just because of what it is, a very sought- after body style. Two door hard top coupe. It was very rusty and didn't have an eng., Trans., or any interior. I soon realized that the Rockers, and the "A" and "B' posts where in good condition. I am aware that every body panel for this car can be bought and replaced, and it can be restored back like brand new, but I didn't want to put the time and money into it. So, I decided that it would make a very unique Rat Rod, and it did. It has the original tan paint and patina. I fabbed 2"x 2" sub-frame connectors and installed them, and started from there. Here's what it's got: 1976 454 Big Block all original, fresh rebuilt with a small cam for the sound, original patina eng paint, TH 350 trans,14 bolt semi floater rearend narrowed to fit the car, with brand new 4.56 gears, custom made straight axle in the front, with soft ride jeep leaf springs, 4 wheel disc brakes, 20" aluminum wheels, 8.25 x 20 truck tires, new alum. radiator, new front brake calipers, new master cylinder, new water pump, new heater core, new speedometer cable, new front brake hoses and steel lines, new coated full length exh headers,new shocks, new steering stabilizer, alum. 8 gal gas tank. All lights work including emergency flashers and horn. The speedometer,dash lights, warning indicators, radio, heater, all work. It needs new tires. I used old tires for the build, and decided to let the new owner put the kind of tires on it that they desire. A set of radials would ride and drive really nice on it. It has a duel exhaust system with headers, round truck mufflers, and 6" dia. side exit pipes. The rear suspension has a custom made anti spring wrap-up and sway bar device. This veh does not have a title. I had the Ga State Patrol run the Vin # and it came back clear. A bill of sale is all that is required in Ga on this year model.
