YOU COULD BE RIDING THIS BIKE MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!You will look a long time before you find a nicer un-restored 1970 Honda CL175, it even has its period original tires! This bike will really bring back the memories. Gorgeous red with an un-faded gas tank with no dents and only minor scratches. Wheels are straight, chrome is outstanding.The sidecovers are not cracked, and have their original badges. The seat is like new, and the Honda logo on the rear is clearly seen. Fenders are straight with excellent chrome. Chrome exhaust and chrome shield are excellent with no rust holes. Headlight, tail light, brake light, turn signals, and horn all work. Speedo and Tach work as they should. This bike shows a low 8700 miles. It starts easily on either the kick or electric start. A new battery was installed this year. The bike clutches, shifts, and brakes as it should. It it very peppy, runs cleanly at all rev ranges, and settles down to a nice low idle. It is beautiful, but not a show bike. However, it has the nicks and scratches you would expect on a well cared for in a 46 year old motorcycle. The tires are original, and will need to be replaced, the foot peg rubber is a bit frayed. The tachometer may have been replaced, its face is good, but it is a bit faded in comparison with the speedometer. Handlebars at their mounting area have a little rust that won't buff out. I know of nothing wrong mechanically with the motorcycle. I have saved the next owner, a lot of headache by putting an aftermarket petcock that works perfectly.
