Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 2004 Mini Cooper S. Sadly, I'm moving out of state, and I don't need two cars. I have done a couple of upgrades, and it's on it's way to being a really fun driving car. As it sits, it has 116k on the clock. I've owned it since 65k. I used it for commuting to work, mostly. Since then it's gotten regular oil changes and regular brake services. The brake light is on because I forgot to order a new sensor the last time I did the brakes. The power steering pump and all the hoses were replaced under warranty in 2014. The following parts are new and less than 2k miles on them (I got another car for commuting and this car has been in the garage all winter) Both front wheel bearings, starter, battery, belt tensioner. I also installed a shrick performance cam and a 15% supercharger reduction pulley ( this spins up the supercharger slightly faster for a performance boost). Overall, this car has been great. The inside is in great condition, and the outside is too. Normal rock chips and such for a 12 year old car with its miles, but it still looks great. I'd love to keep it and add a few more parts to make it perfect, but I have decided to move out of state, so this car has to go. There is no rust on the body of this car. I just got it back from Mini, and they went through it thoroughly, under their paint warranty, and replaced the panels that had rust on them. All professionally done, obviously. This car has a hidden hitch installed. In the photos, the draw bar is not installed. It goes right where the reverse light goes. 2000lbs capacity. I used it to pull a small harbor freight trailer to the store to get lumber and such. The only known issue is that the E-brake cable broke. I park on a flat driveway, so it's never been an issue. I have the cables needed to fix, but the shop said that requires the removal of the muffler, and being that it's a 12 year old car, I'd rather have a new, probably upgraded muffler ready to go in its place.
