Okay - up for auction is my very nice Volvo S40 fully loaded/black leather interior automobile. The body is clean and the car runs. It's a nice car. However, the fate of this car will be a bit of a gamble...either way you'll probably get a good deal. The reason this car is listed for parts or repair is that the car was driven with a crack in the oil pan for some time. That's not good. It does drive now, but could possibly seize up in a worst case scenario. The car will need some work. Mechanic said they think there is a ball bearing in the engine. Technically, you could put a new oil pan on the car and drive it away. However, that's probably not the solution to this ordeal. Most likely you will have to put some money into the car to get it up and running again. OR, if you are a salvage person, you could easily part this car out for a hefty profit.
