Vehicle Detail
1971 Dodge Demon Numbers Matching Factory A/C Demon in the original medium green metallic. This is a Numbers Matching car with a 318 V8 and A-904 transmission, 7 1/4 rear end, two barrel carb and single exhaust, disc brakes, power steering and AC. Base model Ready for upgrades. Interior is all original with vinyl bench seat and rubber floor mat. Interior in decent shape, One small hole on side of seat, Small cracks in dash pad and will need a headliner in the future. The underneath of this car is extremely solid with zero visible rust. The original undercoat has never been re-covered and is in great condition. This car has 50k original miles with a fresh tune up and fluids. New 15 inch wheels and tires have been added with the help of lug adapters to compensate the small moose bolt pattern but the car does come with 5 original 14 inch rims. The car does have some custom touches such as a satin black hood with functional hemi scoop from summit racing. As well as LED front marker lamps. The car has 4 wheel drum brakes with a brand new master cylinder and solid steel lines as well as a CD player installed by a previous owner. This car is driver quality and has its flaws but still shows very well. The doors open and shut smoothly and the weather stripping is still soft since the car has been garaged most of its life. The soft weather stripping makes for a nice quiet smooth ride. These smaller Mopars are gaining popularity lately and Hemings projects that the values will only go up from here. First year of the Dodge Demon, which was quickly dropped from the Mopar line for being too "Satanic" after protest from religious groups. Which makes these cares fairly sought after. The prices on the larger Mopars are starting to decline and the smaller Mopars (Darts/Dusters etc) are starting to increase. Always garage kept. Glass is all in great shape as well as most of the other trim. Underneath of the car is solid, no holes in the rocker panels, floor panels, or sub frame. Never been re-undercoated and showing some factory paint on the bottom of the floor pans where the factory undercoating has flaked off. This car would be the perfect project for a father and son or retired person to add some speed parts to such as a four barrel intake, headers, and disc brakes. The car was previously painted black (except the jambs) But has since been re-painted the correct green. Hemi hood scoop from summit racing is functional, the hood was painted satin black to give it a more macho muscle car look. Email for more info
