This 2500HD regular cab truck comes with the LBZ Duramax engine and Allison transmission combination that everyone wants. It has tons of power and torque and is ready to tow, haul, or push most anything you care to throw at it. We have decided to use a buy-it-now/best offer sale, and have set a very reasonable price, so don't wait too long or it will be gone.....you won't find another one like it. We have over 1000 positive feedbacks, and have been doing this longer than most. Now for a few details. We ran across this truck the other day and just had to have it. It is a 1-Owner truck that spent most of its life in Maryland and was used there by a local municipality. We assume it was used to plow out parking lots and other governmental owned properties. Under the cab you will find one of the most desirable engines you can find in a used truck - the LBZ Duramax Turbo Diesel. The LBZ offers 360 HP and over 650 lb/ft of torque to tow just about anything. It was only available in 2006 and early 2007 and doesn't come with any of the DPF issues or emisions hassles that you find on later 2007 and newer models. Basically it has way more power and torque than the LLY that came before it and way less hassle than the LMM that came after it. We've seen this engine with 400-500k miles so if you take care of it, it will take care of you. It also comes with an Allison 1000 Series 6-Speed Automatic Transmission that shifts very smoothly and 4-wheel drive for the plowing when necessary. Even though this is the base trim level, this Heavy Duty truck has all the necessary features and options. You'll find Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Tilt Wheel, and Power Mirrors along with an AM/FM radio.....everything you need and nothing you don't. There is a towing package on the rear and also a toolbox mounted in the bed for extra supplies, tire chains, or other items. On the front is a Boss 7' 6" Power Angle Plow that comes with a hand held controller to make plowing a cinch. You could drop a spreader in the back and have the perfect truck to make you money in the winter time. While the truck is certainly not perfect and has been used, we think it's a good one and are proud to be selling it. The new owner will get a great Regular Cab 2500HD with the best Duramax Turbo Diesel ever made for a great price.....you will save a bunch of money buying here. The first owners have paid all of the initial depreciation hit, so you have the opportunity to make a great buy on a great truck. Sure it has a few miles, but with some regular service and maintenance it will probably be good for another couple hundred thousand too. Even if you don't need it for a plow truck it would be perfect for a landscaper, ideal to tow your camper, great for use on the jobsite or farm, or you could tune it for use at the truck pull. This truck will likely be sold for thousands of dollars less than at your local dealer. This is the right truck with the right specs and the right miles to make it affordable. You'll have to search long and hard to find another one like it, so don't miss your chance. Outside, the yellow paint looks pretty good. There are a few dings, small dents, and scratches around that are just a result of normal wear and tear. The truck is not perfect, but given the age and mileage, we think it's just fine. Obviously since it was used to plow in the winter, there is a bit of rust here and there. However, we don't see anything excessive to worry about. All of the interior features appear to function normally and this is one we're proud to be selling. Overall it's just a nice, regular cab diesel work truck that has been used but not abused from what we can tell. Keep in mind that you are buying it 100% AS-IS which is how we sell all of our trucks.
