1979 MGB Roadster convertible. Excellent base for a project vehicle. Vehicle was restored approximately 20 years ago, but has been a frequent driver and shows signs of wear. Convertible top is in great condition. Recent work done:New tires and brakes.New clutch, slave cylinder, starter and fuel pump.Converted to electronic ignition system.New GENUINE Weber carburetor.New seat foam and webbing.New engine seals. Work that is needed:Needs brake master cylinder.Will sometimes jump out of 3rd gear, if not under load.Small rust spot under right headlight, but not significant (see photo).Top rear edge of driver door is damaged from striking an object (see photo).Paint needs refreshing. I frequently drive this vehicle and consider it a dependable mode of transportation.
