Here's the nicest 1980 Honda CX500D you'll find. Clear title in my name. I've been riding it to work almost everyday for 5 years now. I recently rebuilt the carbs, replaced the water pump seal, and the fork seals. It also has a new rear tire and intake manifolds. The rear wheel is an 18", the factory was a 16" that was replaced by a previous owner. It has Progressive Suspension fork springs, and a K&N stock style air filter. The resistors in the spark plug caps have been removed, this is a common modification on these when the resistors get old and fail. Comes with a Chilton's repair manual, original tool kit, and a spare working ignition box. It has the original Hondaline hard saddlebags and crash bar. Also included are the Hondaline luggage rack, back rest, and saddlebag guards which I removed because they are a little rusty. You'll also get a box of spares including the radiator surrounds, oil filter, clutch and throttle cables, various o-rings, passenger pegs, and other parts I got with it when I bought it. All the instruments, lights, and controls work as they should. Could use a new front tire, mufflers, and rear shocks (they're a little rusty). The battery is a couple of years old but still working fine. $200 deposit required within 48 hours after action end. Balance in cash, money order, or certified check within 14 days of auction end.
