1990 Volkswagen Golf Country Syncro 4WD. 5-Speed Manual Transmission. This is a very, very rare car. Extremely low 19,258 documented miles. This is a European Model that was legally imported into the US last year. Only 19,258 documented miles since new. The European metric speedometer/odometer was changed to the US one at 29,419 km last year and is included with the car if desired. This car was built for the VW at its Austria plant, it features a rigid body on frame construction, permanent Syncro AWD System, and has amazing off-road capabilities. These things were the sweethearts of the Alps back in the day, not many of them were made, and they are now extremely coveted items even in Europe. They are becoming increasingly hard to find even in decent roadworthy, let alone as clean as this one, as most were driven into the ground and many had vanished into the Eastern Europe and met its fate there.
