1989 GB500 TT Here is a rare opportunity to own one of the most beautiful and elusive production bikes Honda has ever built. Fashioned after the cafe racers from the Isle of Man TT is the 500cc thumper known as the GB500 TT. They were produced in limited numbers for only two years and only rarely does one come to market. This particular bike has only 1350 miles on it and has been well maintained and everything on it functions just as it should. It runs extremely well, is light & fast, and just impossible to ride without a smile on your face. I just installed a brand new N.O.$. fuel tank I managed to find, so there are no worries about rust etc... It also has a rare SuperTrapp exhaust installed that is MUCH lighter and has a more authentic sound than the O.E.M. exhaust which is included as well. It has a new battery and is wearing a new set of Bridgestone Battlaxs. Also included will be a factory Honda service manual and several pieces of the original literature that Honda produced as advertising in frame able condition. It has a clear Georgia title in my name and a 2016 registration so there will be no worries about transfer of ownership. While I would not describe this as a show bike, it is in excellent condition for it's age as you can see in the pictures and just a hell of a lot of fun to ride. You or your representative are welcome inspect this motorcycle before the auction ends with an appointment, but inspections are for BEFORE the auction ends NOT AFTER. Buyer may pick motorcycle up locally. Shipping if needed will be the responsibility of the buyer but I will gladly assist in facilitating the pick-up. There will be a $500 deposit due, made via PayPal, within 24 hours of the close of this auction. Final payment will need to be in the form of cash on pick-up, bank cashier's check or wire to wire bank transfer made within 7 days of the deposit.
