This is 1 of the 70 1982 model year fuel injected TR8s shipped to Canada. It has been in our family since bought new in 1982. Its build date was October 5th, 1981, the final month of TR8 production. The C in the VIN indicates 1982 model year. On the website TR8.com there is info on the 1982 model. It is titled as a 1981. It has been in our family since my father bought it new in 1982. It made its way into my garage 2 years ago when he got a Jag. Always garaged, never driven in winter, and never had an accident. Silver with a blue interior. The paint/clear coat touched up recently. Front passenger side has a scratch and slight dent. Included is a pic of the minor rust found on the outside of the wheel wells. All 4 were the same, I can provide addition pics. The wheels are Rimmer Bros Minilite Replica with tires that have less then 3k miles.(waiting for a replacement cap to arrive for the passenger side back rim). Original wheels also included. The top is in good shape with no tearing. The stitching is lose around the rear window zipper and the windows are hazy. The seats were covered since new and are in great shape. The floor mats are recent additions. The dash has a crack next the lights switch where there is a screw. I’ve taken the car out a few times this spring, including a half hour drive today and it is driving well. The oxygen sensor light has been on since the 80’s and my dad has always had a piece of black tape over it. Outside of that no other lights are on. The gauges are in kilometers, not miles. The dash shows 71,163 KM. Selling as is. Please let me know if you have other questions. I went to the shop we have used for the last 15 years for repairs and had them print out statements. Currently the car is driving well and has no oil leaks. There is play in the shifter and I'm told the bearing may need to be replaced. 11/11/2003 61,167 KM Replaced Thermo Time Switch, Cold Start Value, and had the ECM sent out for repairs 11/25/03 61,338 KM Rear brakes disassembled and cleaned, fuel line replaced. 5/29/07 64,917 KM Installed new tires, rims, and aligned. New custom exhaust with Turbo Mufflers. New Front struts. Cylinders 1 & 3 were misfiring. Replaced terminals on harness for injectors. 10/2/07 65,972KM Replaced left bank fuel injectors CYL 1,3,5,7
