You are considering a Vintage 1982 Honda XR80 dirt bike. This is a good running , nice looking 34 year old dirt bike. This is the bike your rich buddy had , that you always wanted. These bike are very hard to find and all sell for a premium. This bike runs good and is rideable. It has small minor issues. The motor runs good and does not smoke. Nice smooth running motor. The carb drips a little gas , seems to flood the motor and makes the bike hard to start on occasion. I have been running the motor after turning off the gas and run the carb dry. They sell new aftermarket carbs on EBay for $20 with free shipping. Again this is minor. The grips are worn. The seat has a small separation on the rear. The tires and rims are in very good condition. The rear brake squeaks when applied. The frame is in good condition with good paint. The tank looks good with a little wear where it meets the seat. The bike has a few minor issues BUT it is 34 years old. Everything needs maintenance. These Honda's seem to run forever.
